Inspired by the bedroom of 18th century Swedish botanist Carl Linnaeus’ home, our Herbarium collection began as a hand-painted wallpaper - a mural project which lead to our first wallpaper design.
Herbarium Forest evokes the calm of an English woodland and includes verdant ferns, daisies and wild garlic. Tess's original studies have been placed onto a warm lime wash ground, creating a charming botanical lampshade.
Our lampshades are made by hand using our wallpaper, printed in Lancashire, England. Samples of our Herbarium Wildflower wallpaper can be purchased to check the lampshade against your room scheme.

Fitting: Our lamps are available with either a Table Lamp fitting for EU/UK lamp or US Harp fitting.
Please allow 3 weeks lead time for lampshades with US Harp fitting as they are made-to-order, email shop@tessnewall.com for any queries.

Size: base 12", top 6", height 8". Pair with our Bedside Bobbin lamp base.
All of our paper lampshades are fused with a flame-retardant backing to meet fire safety standards.

Each original artwork has been scanned to a high resolution and placed on a lime wash texture background.
High quality pigment print onto non-woven paper. Made in Lancashire, England.
Please note, due to the nature of the printing process, there may be slight variations to the printed pattern, which are integral to the character of the product.
All of our lampshades are handmade in England, in small batches.
