Our Herbarium collection began as a handpainted wallpaper. Inspired by the bedroom of 18th century Swedish botanist Carl Linnaeus’ home, Tess painted plant studies onto individual sheets of parchment paper and pasted them in an overlapping decoupage style. This bespoke project lead to our first wallpaper design.
Herbarium Forest evokes the calm of an English woodland and includes verdant ferns, daisies and wild garlic. Tess's original studies have been placed onto a natural sisal with a warm lime wash ground, creating a charming wallcovering with the feel of a mural.
Made from 100% natural sisal, Herbarium Grasscloth is available in both our Wildflower and Forest designs, with the option of an Ivory or Blush lime wash ground.

As our Herbarium wallpaper has a large repeat, we recommend adding a 20% margin to your wall square meterage. Divide this by the roll square meterage (5.6 sqm) to calculate the amount of rolls you require.
