Weights, dimensions and descriptions of goods given by us to you for any purpose are stated in good faith but are approximate only and will not bind Tess in any way. We reserve the right to withdraw, or amend, the specification of any goods without further notice to you. Please allow variance on sizes stated especially when orders are placed at different times.

Please note we do not guarantee colour match between the same products ordered by you in separate orders. We do not guarantee colour and size match between wallpaper with the same pattern.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the Tess Newall Website. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor, tablet or mobile device, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's, tablet's or mobile device's display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery. 

All sizes and measurements are approximate. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the Tess Newall Website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. We reserve the right to refuse orders where product information has been mis-published, including prices and promotions.​

All information and advice either published on the Tess Newall Website, sent to you by email or shared with you over the phone has been supplied in good faith and can only be interpreted as general guidance.

Our wallpapers and lampshades are digitally printed to recreate a hand-painted look. Unique characteristics and details associated with this technique are essential to the character of our products and cannot be classified as faults. 

In particular, our surface printed wallpaper may contain slight variations due to the nature of the printing process which is distinctive and gives it a unique character. 

All of our products are designed for interior use only. It is your responsibility to ensure that the product is fit for purpose for the end use you envisage.

P R I C E S

Prices include VAT, but exclude delivery charges and import duties. Customers will pay postal/shipping costs at check-out. Customers outside the United Kingdom are liable for additional import duties.

​All prices are correct at time of publishing, but may change due to administrative errors or circumstances beyond our control. Tess is not liable for import duties for international shipments outside the United Kingdom.

​P L A C I N G   A N   O R D E R

Tess may modify the terms and conditions on the Tess Newall Website without notifying you. You agree to periodically review these terms and conditions to be aware of any such revisions. Should the revision be unacceptable to you, you agree to stop accessing the Tess Newall Website. Your continued use of the Tess Newall Website after any such revision(s) shall be deemed as acceptance of and agreement to abide by all such revisions. Prices are subject to change without notice. These changes will not affect orders that have already been dispatched.

Some items sold on the Tess Newall Website are made to order and are non-stocked items. This means that these orders will only be produced on payment in full of the value of the order. 

It is your responsibility to ensure that you are satisfied that all details and aspects of your order are correct and suitable for your requirements including without limitation measurements, dimensions, product features and delivery. Tess is not responsible for any implications resulting from incorrect details and aspects of your order.

When you place an order on the Tess Newall Website we shall email you an order confirmation. Once you have checked out and you have received your order confirmation you will not be able to make any changes to your order so please make sure that everything is correct before clicking the 'PAY’ button.​

We recommend that when ordering wallpapers or homewares that advice is sought from a trained professional. Tess can only advise suitable meterage of products in good faith, but does not take responsibility for over or under ordering of products. Any additional orders as a result of under ordering will be treated as a separate order and cannot be added on to previous orders.​

We reserve the right to refuse an order. If there are any problems with your order we shall contact you. We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time. We will take all necessary measures to keep the details of your order and payment secure.

To be eligible to purchase products on this website you must be over 18 years of age, register by providing your real name, phone number, email address, payment details and other requested information and also provide a valid delivery address and a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us. Please note that PO box numbers, hotels and temporary addresses are not permitted.

D I S C O U N T   C O D E S

You may occasionally receive discount codes from us, via email or through promotional materials. Each code is unique to the recipient, is not transferable, has no monetary value and under no circumstances can it be converted into currency. Each code has an expiry date, which will be stated at the time of promotion or on accompanying promotional materials which cannot be modified. Codes can only be redeemed online.

​​When an order is placed using a promotional code and contains a number of items, the value of the discount is spread over each item according to the pro-rated value of that item. Any refund of an item purchased in such an order will be reduced by the value of discount attached to it. The ‘discount’ will not be refunded.

Under no circumstances can the value of a discount code be deducted from an order if that code is defective or out of date: no replacement codes will be issued.

Only one discount voucher can be used per order. If any other rules apply to a specific promotion, these will be clearly stated at the time of promotion or on accompanying promotional materials.​​​

S H I P P I N G   &   D E L I V E R Y

We will endeavour to ship items held in stock within 7 days for the UK, for International Shipping please allow up to 2 weeks save for weekends and public holiday

For made-to-order items, lead times will vary and are stated on individual product pages. 

You will receive a shipment confirmation email with the shipping tracking number when the order has been dispatched.

For orders outside of the United Kingdom local customs duty will be charged to you depending upon the country in which you reside. Tess is not responsible for payment of this duty. The shipping company will contact you once your items are in customs to let you know the cost. Be aware that this may delay your delivery time as goods are held at customs. It will be your responsibility to pay the necessary charges for local authorities to release the goods.

​R I S K   O F   L O S S   O R   D A M A G E​

Tess carries the risk of loss or damage to the ordered products until you receive them. The products belong to you when you have received them and have paid us in full. If you return the products to us for any reason, they will become our property and be at our risk from the time we receive them.

Please note that you have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the items while they are in your possession and we hold the right to deny returns if the merchandise returned does not meet our policy requirements.

​R E T U R N S   P O L I C Y

​We hope you love your products but if you wish to return an item, goods must be sent back within 14 days of receiving them. In addition, please note product specific details below: 

SAMPLES:

Please note that we do not accept returns of samples. 

WALLPAPER:

Rolls of wallpaper must be returned unopened, in their original packaging. 

LAMPSHADES:

Lampshades must be returned in their original packaging, in the same condition as they were received, ensuring every effort is made to protect them.  

MIRRORS:

Mirrors must be returned in their original packaging, in the same condition as they were received, ensuring every effort is made to protect the mirror glass. 

MADE-TO-ORDER PRODUCTS:

All Tess Newall made-to-order products are non-returnable. We do not accept returns unless the product is a) damaged in transit before you receive them or b) if the product is faulty.

​All goods are dispatched suitably packaged for transit purposes only. You should inspect the goods upon delivery and check that no items are damaged. If goods are damaged you should sign for as such upon delivery and contact shop@tessnewall.com within 24 hours of delivery including photographic evidence of the damage. We do not take responsibility for goods that have been damaged after delivery as a result of poor handling or storage.

​You must check the product for faults before installation. Should you believe that your item is faulty you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery at shop@tessnewall.com including photographic evidence.

Returns labels are provided and the return of goods is at the customer's own expense. 

Items should be returned to: Tess Newall Returns, Newall LTD, Unit 24 Berwick Court Farm, Berwick, East Sussex, BN26 5QS within 14 days of receipt. If the item returned meets our return terms, any sum debited from your credit or debit card will be re-credited to your account as soon as the goods are received and processed, excluding the initial shipping cost. Please note, we will not cover decorator costs or any other additional costs that arise as this is solely your responsibility.

Tess Newall will respect the privacy of your personal data, and will comply with all relevant and current data protection legislation. We will not disclose your personal data to anyone, unless required to do so by a court of competent jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any such amendments will take effect when posted on the Tess Newall Website and it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use the Tess Newall Website. The continued use of the Tess Newall Website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.
