Rectory Farm
Decoration of a children's playroom and adjoining drawing room in a 16th century farmhouse. Our brief was to reflect the family's love of travelling, with explosions of colour playfully layered within the historic home. Inspired by the colourful tents of Seville's Feria festival, joyful borders run around the playroom like a Lagartera embroidery, while the drawing room beams capture the spirit of Aztec textiles. The rooms are characterful and deeply personal to the family, woven together by threads of colour and travel.
