Belgravia square

Decoration of a pair of alcoves in the drawing room of a historic London house. Inspired by the 16th-century Samode Palace in Rajasthan, the decoration plays on their arched architecture. Combining the jewel-like colours used in the room, borders and patterns meet to create a maximalist background to display an eclectic collection of treasures.
