DUTCH QUARTER HOUSE

Decoration of a pair of midcentury chests for an 1800s canal house in Amsterdam's Dutch Quarter. Our brief was to create timeless pieces that would sit in side-by-side bedrooms of twin sisters, capturing the shared sense of adventure between the siblings.

Inspired by 20th century Austrian-American illustrator Ludwig Bemelmans, Madeline's Pepito performs circus tricks, playfully telling the story of their respective interests and passions.
